Green Bear Toys was founded in the living room of our home, with boxes all around and children running and crawling between. In 2013 our twin boys were born with cerebral palsy, adding a new challenge to our life. With four children under the age of four, we were busier than ever. It was not easy, but having a small business in our home made sense, we could include our children’s love of toys, and our love of selling something to bring magic to another child’s life.
Raising twin boys with cerebral palsy is both a challenging and rewarding lifetime experience. As our boys continue to grow so does their list of obstacles and achievements. Instead of relying on others, we decided that the best advocates for our kids are us, their parents, and siblings. This why we created an e-commerce website with a purpose. By merging our online business with an awareness campaign, we aim at raising and donating all funds to help those individuals living with cerebral palsy achieve their goals and dreams one step at a time.
